We’re delighted to announce that CSG has been shortlisted for two Recruiter Awards.
The shortlist for this year’s Recruiters Awards has just been announced and we are delighted that Commercial Services Group (CSG) has been shortlisted for not just one but two awards:
Best Public Sector Recruitment Agency and
Best Recruitment and Agency Marketing Team
CSG, wholly owned by Kent County Council, is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of products and services to other publicly funded organisations. Our innovative approach to working with the public sector has led to the development of a highly successful joint venture recruitment agency model marketed under the Connect2 branding. Being shortlisted for these recruitment industry awards is a significant recognition of the added value being provided by these public to public partnerships.
Helen Lock, Managing Director, Recruitment Division reacted to the announcement: “Being shortlisted for two awards means a lot to us. We are being recognised for the public service work we do at the premier awards in the recruitment industry. Our social value ethos is to sustain and improve services, building skills and talent pipeline and quite simply, to put money in the pockets of our residents.”
CSG’s JV’s and teams are uniquely placed to support our public sector customers to deliver on their key issues; be it local jobs for local people or delivering new sources of income from what was previously a cost. Being shortlisted for these awards is important recognition for the particularly hard work delivered by our teams during the Covid pandemic. The vision for these partnerships goes beyond simply filling roles, our teams enable partners to achieve essential outcomes such as finding employment for the long term unemployed, care leavers and local residents.
Each of the Connect2 brands has its own goals aligned with the key drivers of our partners and consequently vary across the partnerships: Luton closely links to the Luton 2040 ‘to be a healthy, fair and sustainable town, where everyone can thrive and no-one has to live in poverty’. For Connect2Hampshire the outcomes will be measured in contribution to sustainable economic growth. For the marketing team to be recognised for their campaigns is also a significant milestone for us.
Helen continues, “Our partnerships and public service delivery models are built on common cultures and drivers for success. Our local structures allow us to be agile, whether that is reacting quickly to a national pandemic crisis where we resourced for and mobilised 1400 local residents to staff mass testing and track and trace sites, supporting the growing need for support staff at asylum reception center’s or more recently in Luton, providing safe access to advice and support for Ukraine refugees – We are proud to be changing thousands of lives.”
The Recruiter Awards were established in 2002 for the entire recruitment community to recognise outstanding achievements by agencies, in-house recruiters as well as recruitment marketing. Judging aims to highlight organisations who add outstanding value to their business partnerships.
The winners will be announced at a Gala Award ceremony to be held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House on 29 September. We wish everyone luck!
